Killian + Amanda :: Wedding | Palmer AK

I’m so happy to get this wedding up on the blog! These two love birds live in Unalaska (Dutch Harbor), and although we would have loved to fly out to them, they chose to have their ceremony at the Alaska State Fair Grounds. From the hot chocolate bar to the delicate golden animals, every single detail in this wedding was perfectly executed by Amanda and her mother.  All the color tones matched the day so well, warm metallics and cool grays. Even though we had 3:00pm golden hour sun, we never stopped moving for long in the brisk 10 degree temps. They celebrated the evening away with closest friends and family and then hopped a plane to sunny Puerto Rico.

Enjoy!

Killian and Amanda just celebrated their one year anniversary.

Mike + Hannah :: Married | Palmer, AK

When Mike and Hannah said their vows the earth paused to take notice…

These two beautiful souls are so deserving of each other and I am so honored to have been there to document their day! We all praised God through worship songs + laughed and cried by the heartfelt toasts given by family and friends.

Steve + Nikki :: Married | Homer, AK

Steve and Nikki are a very special couple to me! They were the very first clients that booked me after our family moved to Homer and I am eternally grateful.

Their wedding was full of family, friends, joy and lots of love. Their details were amazing! They captured this little quirky, artsy, beach town of Homer perfectly! It was refreshing to watch a couple so in love and so excited to be married, stealing little glances and hand holding throughout the day.

A special thanks to Silas at Standing Tide Productions for second shooting.

Paige | Anchor Point, AK

I feel a CHANGE coming! The Possible Workshop I attended last month made me see things differently, want to communicate differently and photograph at a deeper level…

This beautiful girl is Paige. I had just met her at church before asking her to shoot. Lucky me, she said yes! We shot this series of photographs just for fun as the sun went down. No pressure, No expectations! Watching her go from shy to confident in front of the camera was an amazing thing to witness. Her squinty-eyed grin is the absolute best!

Possible Workshop

POSSIBLE PORTLAND

I can’t say enough about what an incredible experience this was. For years I have been searching for the information that I learned at this workshop. Gabe, Ed and Jesh opened up a whole new world of interacting and finding emotion from clients.

I met some amazing people and now friends from all over the world. Being in a room with 80+ like-minded creatives all in search of more was an amazing experience!

I had a couple sweet friends, Christa and Miss Sally, that gave me a place to stay and showed me “their Portland.”

So thankful for my supporting husband and mother-in-law who allowed this to happen!
